Headsup! Montessori Preschool is seeking a substitute teacher for our Child Development Center. Preschool teachers share responsibility for the curriculum, parent liaison, and staff development.

This is a year-round preschool which requires a 1 year commitment (12 months). Bachelor’s degree are preferred not required, minimum 12 ECE units, and teaching experience. Exceptional abilities, talents, or experience are highly desirable, with a preference for Montessori training. A candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S. immediately and vaccinations are required for all staff members. Teachers have a clear career path to promotion of a Head teacher and can earn vacation, sick leave, medical, dental, retirement, and many other benefits, including a substantial discount on child care.

The Headsup! Montessori Preschool is situated in the Central Park Plaza business park. The preschool offers a five-day-per-week, full-time learning and care program for infants through preschoolers (ages 3-6 years). It operates year-round, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, on a business calendar to accommodate working parents. It is part of the Early Learning Institute (“ELI”), a Palo Alto-based educational organization with similar programs in Palo Alto.
