Description:
To familiarize the adult learner with the many types of communication, both formal and informal, via different media, that we communicate with families. Classic and emerging vehicles to seek family engagement, and offer services to families is explored.

Objectives to be achieved:
The adult learner identifies and communicates processes to engage the teaching staff in personal and professional growth in support of school’s engagement with families. (MACTE 1b)
The adult learner exhibits and communicates an understand and implementation of a system to develop the school’s professional capacity through recruitment, hiring, and orientation of faculty & staff. (MACTE 2a)
The adult learner engages in mentoring other teachers and engages in professional learning that is aligned to the school’s philosophy to promote continuous improvement. (MACTE 2b)
The adult learner develops and communicates systems of evaluation, observation, support, and ongoing guidance of faculty & staff designed for school improvement and student success. (MACTE 2c)
The adult learner demonstrates an understanding of how indoor & outdoor
